Emeraude Toubia is an Canadian Actress best known as a main character in the Freeform Fantasy series Shadowhunters and Venevision Television series Cosita linda & Voltea Pa' que te enamores. A dancer and model by trade Toubia has also had success in both fields. Born in Montreal She was raised in Texas. She has always had a passion for performance. As a little girl, she began training in diverse forms of dance. When she was 15, she started participating in beauty pageants. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia gained fame when she competed in Nuestra Belleza Latina in 2008. In an episode from Telemundo's television show Aurora in 2008, she was the role of a receptionist. In 2015, she was in her first feature film, an action drama called Tattooed Love.
